This privacy notice provides you with detailed information about how we collect your personal data, why we use it and how we keep it safe, whether you access via our website or associated services. By providing this information you are agreeing to be eighteen or over unless clearly stated otherwise.It is extremely important that the information we keep about you is up to date and correct, especially for any counselling services. Please do let us know if any of your personal details have changed at, email: unwindwithmeg@outlook.com The type of personal data we collect are; personal identifiers, characteristics and contact numbers, such as full names, email addresses, telephone numbers, your home address, zoom or skype names and details, any other online profiles you wish to share, GP surgery details and next of kin details (if you are buying a counselling service) as well as any financial information if you purchase a product or service. Your information is securely stored at my business address. We keep your personal data for 7 years due to insurance purposes and being legal bound to do so. After this we will delete any personal data from the records if it’s not been requested to be kept longer due to legal reasons. Any paperwork will be securely stored in a non-portable, lockable cabinet and will be destroyed via shredding before disposing of it. Any data stored online will be kept on a password protected laptop. The company Unwind with Meg is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com allows us to sell our services and products to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s own data storage, general application and database. Wix.com store your data on secure servers behind firewalls. Please read Wix.com own privacy policy for more information. Under data protection laws you have certain rights in relation to your personal information, as follows:(a) Right to request access: (this is often called ‘subject access’). This is the right to obtain from us a copy of the personal information which we hold about you.
